What it is
Blocky Blast Puzzle is a block-placing puzzle. You drag shapes onto a grid, and whenever a row or a column is completely filled, it clears and makes room for the next pieces.
The loop
You get a few shapes at a time and choose where each one goes on the board. Pieces do not fall; you decide the spot. A completely filled row or column disappears, which frees space and adds to your score.
Classic mode keeps going until there is no room left for the pieces you are holding. The skill is thinking two or three pieces ahead so that a large awkward shape always has a home.
Poki's page also mentions Block Blasts, which clear big parts of the board at once. Finding placements that blow up several blocks together is how scores climb.

Early advice
Keep one large empty area free for the biggest pieces.
Before you place, look at all the pieces you hold, not just the first one.
Build towards a row and a column that cross, so one piece can clear both.
Avoid single-cell holes. They are the hardest spaces to fill later.
